Information for Residential Students
Because of the recent changes that we were forced to make regarding our location for RSMC 2008, we have made arrangements with the local hotels to accomodate the residential students. Boys and girls will be housed in separate hotels, with adult supervision (professional Staff and Counselors as RAs).
Residential students will be housed two to a room. Students can request a roommate on the tuition form.
Three meals per day will be provided. Students may also make use of snack and drink vending machines available at night.
A few evenings a week are designated as Recreation Nights. Activities will include swimming, sports, games, and movies.
Residential students should plan on bringing:
- comfortable clothes for daytime wear
- concert attire (black pants, white shirt)
- bathing suit
- sweatshirt or jacket
- personal care items
- spending money for snacks, laundry, etc.
- a backpack is recommended to keep personal belongings together during the day
- electronic items (ipod, camera, cell phone) are allowed, however, RSMC is not responsible for any item that becomes lost or broken.
Additional information will be presented to all residential students and their families during the orientation meeting on registration day. Even though supervision is provided at all times, the student is still responsible for his own actions and decisions. Inappropriate behavior, blatant disregard for the safety or well-being of any camp participant, failure to abide by any of the rules and regulations, or any other misconduct will result in the student being dismissed from the remainder of camp without refund. In such cases, the parents or guardians will be notified and will be required to come pick up their child immediately.
Please contact the camp with additional questions or concerns.
